I’m trying to grab (past) reports for a segment using
/v1/reports/traffic
The sensor that was on the street has been(re-?)moved since.
How come data is not available for the days the sensor was still there?
Thanks !

Hi @gordie.lachance - don’t worry, the data is still there.
As we grow the number of devices around the world, the demand on our API from all the data points was getting substantial, so we now only show the devices that are active (or have been active recently).
For the full data set, check out the new link in the bottom right and switch to ‘historical’ view that will include all the segments that have historic data. You will find this there.
Great! But how do I do that through the API ? Thanks!
The API has not changed - if you have the segment ID or instance ID you still have access to the data - it is only the map that has changed.
Well, I can’t see the segment 9000008858 (rue de la Déportation, Tubize) which was available in june and july. They moved the sensor but it seems that it is not available even in the historical data… ?
There appear to be a couple of devices in this area.
As a reminder, each device needs to have a unique user account linked to it, and so if you try to install two devices using the same account, the first can be stopped, so this could have happened here.
Also, if you MOVE a device, there are two possible options. One is to leave the data in the original location and start collecting data in the new location (the best option) and the second is to carry the existing data to a new location (this is used if the original location was incorrectly set and therefore needs to be linked to the correct segment).
Something like this may have happened to this data.
As I don’t know the history of this network, you should probably get in touch via support@telraam.net and someone will be able to look into this for you in more detail.
