Hi, my city had a Telraam sensor on an important street of my city.
It’s a narrow street (and it is one-way) but it is an strategical street: because of the channel and the railway, there is not really any alternative to join the center except by passing through it.
Telraam data here.
V85 = about 70kmh (limitation is 50kmh)
Location on Google Street View here - you can see what the street looks like.
I made a little script and this is the report I get for one month. I’m really confused by the speed stats. Do you think it makes sense ? I know that a lot of people are driving fast, but I get 1.5% of cars above 100kmh, which is twice the allowed speed ? Not sure that I can trust that, especially since the sensor does not work well by night time.
How reliable are those speed stats?
