What are the origins of the optical artifacts: left bias, limited ROI sections?

A Question for the Developers:

Could you tell us more about the pathway from the camera optics to the AI?

The camera in the S2 device appears to be a wide angle camera and straight on the board, but the image is always shifted left… what causes that… and could we get through software or hardware a right shift for locations that need it?

The ROI choices are limited and all square?

Will it be possible for Telraam S2 hardware to support a landscape format wide angle ROI counting zone in the future?
