Hello,
I have a fleet of V1s purchased in 2021 from Gontran, which are equipped with Kingston Canvas Select Plus microSD SDCS2 memory cards. Several of these cards are burnt out; it seems they aren’t suitable for use with the Telraam. I’m looking into replacing them; I think the “High Endurance” range would be suitable. What do you think? https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00313629.html
Hi m11, yeah for the V1’s, we do see attrition in the sensors and it’s mostly due to the SD-drives failing. If you want to revamp the v1 sensor-kit, best to upgrade the SD-Drive indeed.
We’ve been in touch with Kingston some time ago and explained our application; they recommend high endurance indeed. For Kingston it’s these: https://www.kingston.com/en/memory-cards/high-endurance-microsd-card
I guess the ones from Scandisk are suitable too. 32GB is more than enough.
Good luck bringing them back to live. Cool to see V1’s still being used! ![]()
Ok thanks Kris, I will see to change the SD cards with High Endurance cards!
After doing some research, I realize that it would be more interesting to increase the capacity of the card to increase the lifespan of the Sandisk high endurance card, so to go from 32 to 64 GB.
On V1, do you know how much data is written to the card in a day?
