Citizens and local groups are very interested in the speed histograms, as of course speeding is a concern. It would be great to be able to somehow “calibrate” a Telraam unit - for example by clicking two points on the ROI image and entering the measurement of the distance between those points.
Or my other crazy idea : allow a Telraam user to generate and print out a large QR code, stick it in the window of their car, and drive past their local units. If you also entered the make / model of your car (e.g. my Mk7 Golf ) to look up the length (4.25m), then the units could ‘calibrate’ their speed estimates using these vehicles (locally or server-side calculation).
