I have just installed a Telraam S2 and am already using it. There is a small front garden in front of my window, in which a small tree grows that obscures part of the field of vision.
I manage to reduce the area obscured by the tree by selecting the image section - but I can’t get it to zero.
Does the Telraam S2 regard this tree as a static object, or can the movements of the branches and leaves lead to distortions in the counter result?
In general it will be ignored if you can make sure it leaves most of the ROI free so we can monitor the traffic.
It is not impossible, however, that the moving branches could occasionally cause issues. It isn’t that they will be counted, but the movement will take up the ‘attention’ of the chip that may then not be able to track fast moving traffic it should count, but this should not be a major issue.
